When is the 2026 Charlot Gymnastics Recital and what is the theme?

Our 2026 Annual Gymnastics Recital, “Flipping Through the Decades,” will take place June 26–28, 2026. This special event celebrates each gymnast’s progress, confidence, and growth throughout the year.

Who should participate and is my child ready?

Accepted Answer

All students currently enrolled in a class are encouraged to participate. At Charlot Gymnastics, we believe every child deserves to be celebrated, no matter their age or skill level.
 Children in parent participation classes (such as Bouncing Babies or Tumble Tots) will participate with their guardian at no additional cost.

Question 3

How do we sign up, opt out, and select a recital time?

Accepted Answer

Families must stop by the front office to complete either an opt-in or opt-out form by April 25, 2026. If an opt-out form is not received, a $60 recital participation fee will be automatically charged on April 26, 2026.

Families will also stop by the front office to select a recital day and time. To create balanced and exciting shows, space in each time slot is limited by level and available on a first come, first served basis. Recital schedules are subject to change.

How will my child learn their recital routines?

Accepted Answer

Your child builds foundational skills daily in class. Beginning in April, those skills will be combined into the four routines they will perform at recital.
 Regular attendance helps athletes feel confident and prepared.

To provide extra support, Recital Clinics are offered in May and June. These optional clinics give athletes additional time to practice routines, build confidence, and feel recital ready.
Clinic cost is $15 per clinic or 3 make-ups, and sign-ups are completed through the front office. Space is limited.

What will my child wear in the recital?

Athletes will wear one of the following:
 • Custom 2026 Recital Leotard & Shorts
 • Custom 2026 Recital T-Shirt & Shorts
 • Charlot Gymnastics enrollment shirt with shorts
Custom recital clothing fittings and ordering take place February 9–28, 2026, with final payments due March 16, 2026 (no exceptions).

Question 6

What is included in the recital package pricing?

Accepted Answer

Recital Package – $135 + tax (available through May 30, 2026)
 This package offers a $20 savings and includes:
 • Recital participation fee (includes the athlete’s award)
 • 4 spectator tickets
 • 1 bunch of flowers
Package pricing is only available until May 30, 2026. After this date, all items will be sold a la carte.

What is the a la carte pricing?

Accepted Answer

Starting June 1, 2026, all recital items are available a la carte only.
 • Recital Participation Fee: $60
(Includes the athlete’s award)
 • Spectator Tickets:
    • $20 if purchased by June 13, 2026
    • $25 starting June 15, 2026
 • Flowers: $15 + tax
    • Pre-orders must be placed by June 1, 2026 to ensure availability on recital day
